Nike Air Foamposite

Most people wonder why the Foamposite’s look the way they do and it’s not a simple task. The upper is made of a liquid foam mould that’s completely seamless. Only in recent years have Nike seen the benefits of seamless fabric uppers in their Flyknit range for sports performance. The foam provides support and greater protection in basketball sneakers and makes them look like they’re from another planet.

History

This trainer revolution didn’t take place overnight! It took a huge amount of research to create the design that sneakerheads now obsess over. Designers and manufactures didn’t believe the outlandish construction could be done but in 1997 the first Foamposite was unleashed. Fast forward to today and they’re still loved the World over.

The trainer became known as Penny Hardaway’s signature shoe and his co-sign propelled them into the limelight.
