Nike are retroing a SB classic that are bound to be a sell out! That’s right the Nike SB Stefan Janoski Digi Floral are back. We take a detailed look at digi-print trainers.
They’re back! Possibly the most coveted pair of Janoski’s (ever), have just been given a release date. Baring in mind they are only set to release in Japan we have our hopes they will extend the release to our side of the pond and of course Stateside.
The 2013 edition of the “Digi Floral” kicks first dropped in 2013 and were an instant sell out, making them the most popular colourway of the silhouette to-date. They are currently still on the resale market for triple the retail value price. So if you don’t want to be dropping £300 on a pair of Janoski’s – that’s kinda ridiculous – then make sure you keep an eye out for the UK release date.

Origin:
Nike opened a segment dedicated to the craft of skating in 2002 called Nike Skateboarding (Nike SB). This was the second time the brand had made a play for the skateboard market, and this attempt was a lot more successful. In 2013 Nike gave affluent Cali Professional Skater Stefan Janoski the opportunity to design his own signature pair of trainers for the Nike SB brand.
Working alongside James Arizumi, Janoski took elements of old school skate shoes and Sperry Top Spiders – Boat shoes for those of us that don’t know – and combined the two to make the Nike SB Zoon Stefan Janoski.
I was completely involved with the design of my shoe. The beginning was a struggle. Nike and I had two different ideas for what the shoe should be, and there were many revisions, but as it was my signature shoe, I would not compromise and we kept working until it was exactly the way I wanted
