The eighth season of this science fiction series much appreciated by Internet users is to be found today on the HBO Max platform!
The 80s had Doc and Marty, and thirty years later placed in Rick and Morty. Yes, the irreverent animation series is indeed inspired by the iconic duo returning to the future. But the comparison between the film trilogy and this adult swim production stops there, as the program has managed to develop a completely original universe.
Rick and Morty follows the adventures of a half-mad, and completely alcoholic scientist, accompanied in his adventures of his grandson. Crossing time, space and the parallel universes, the two components will cross the road with wacky characters, but also of fatal enemies.
A series whose end is not very close!
The series is characterized by its fierce humor, and its many references to pop culture. In the original version, many stars (Hugh Jackman, Lisa Kudrow, Nathan Fillion …) gave voice for one or more episodes. Proof of the importance taken by the series, and of its growing fame which allows it to attract renowned talents.
Parody with devastating humor, Rick and Morty quickly became a pillar of adult animation. The series is regularly renewed for several additional seasons, and its success does not seem to stop. Several special episodes have already emerged, as well as a spin-off co-produced with Japan: Rick and Morty: The Anime.
