The official notification for recruiting 250 positions of ATO posts was released on 15 March 2024 at ossc.gov.in. This notification was released under the Director of Technical Education and Training, Government of Odisha. Individuals will be appointed as ATOs in various government departments in Odisha. The online registration for these posts was started on 16 April 2024, and the last date to apply for these positions was 15 May 2024.

Selection Procedure
The selection of the individuals for ATO posts is divided into three main stages, i.e. Preliminary Exam, Mains Exam and Certificate Verification. Detailed information about these phases is given below:
- Preliminary Exam: The Preliminary Exam phase is a screening phase that examines the candidate’s general knowledge, reasoning ability and basic knowledge through multiple-choice questions.
- Mains Exam: The Main Exam focuses on the candidate’s technical and professional knowledge.
- Certificate Verification: After qualifying for the Prelims and Main Exam, the commission will call the selected candidates for Certificate Verification. It is mandatory to present the original certificates for verification.
Exam Pattern For OSSC ATO Exam
The written exam will be conducted as per trade/post-wise. You can see the exam pattern for each post in the mentioned tables:
- The written examination will be conducted on MOR Sheets.
- There will be a penalty of 1/4th mark for each incorrect answer, and 1/3rd marks will be awarded for each correct answer.
- All questions will be objective-type based.

OSSC ATO Admit Card Details
The admit card covers all the whole information about the candidates such as their names, roll numbers, date of birth and parents’ details. Along with these details, it has detailed information regarding the examination, i.e. exam date, exam time and exam location. Candidates are advised to check the details mentioned on the admit card to avoid discrepancies.
How to download the OSSC ATO Admit Card 2024?
Candidates can use these steps to download their admit cards:
- Visit the ossc.gov.in website.
- Now, look for the “Download Admit Card” section and find the link to download the “OSSC ATO Admit Card 2024”.
- After finding the accurate link, fill in the required details, such as registration number/user ID and date of birth.
- After filling in the details, click on the submit button.
- It will take a few seconds to display the admit card.
- Now, you can see a PDF of the admit card.
- Download it, and do not forget to take at least two copies of the admit card.
