OSSSC Recruitment 2024 Selection Process
Candidates have to undergo the following selection process to be appointed for Forest Guard, Forester, and Live Stock Inspector posts. Candidates who clear the OSSSC Written examination will be called to appear for the OSSSC Physical Test which comprises the Physical Efficiency Test and Physical Measurement Test followed by Document Verification. After document verification, candidates have to submit their choice for Posts/ District/ Circle and Division. The final merit of the candidates will be prepared on the basis of the candidate’s merit list and the candidate’s choice of posts.
Stage 1- Written Test: OSSSC will conduct the OSSSC written examination for Forest Guard, Forester, and Live Stock Inspector Posts. On the basis of the written examination candidates will be shortlisted for the next phase of the selection process i.e. Physical Exam. OSSSC Written exam is likely to be held in the month of February in all districts of Odisha.
Stage 2- Physical Test (Physical Measurement Test/ Physical Efficiency Test): On the basis of the candidate’s performance in the OSSSC Witten examination as per merit list 3 times the number of total vacancies will be called to appear for the Physical tests.
Stage 3- Document Verification: Qualified candidates in Physical examination will be called for Document Verification where candidates have to provide their original documents in order to verify the information submitted by them in the application forms.

On the basis of the candidate’s performance in OSSSC Forest Guard Written Examination and as per merit-based 03 times of number of vacancies candidates will be called to appear for the OSSSC Forest Guard Physical MeasurementTest. PMT Test is qualifying in nature and candidates who do not fulfill the laid down physical efficiency test i.e. Hight and Chest will be eliminated from the recruitment process.

OSSSC Recruitment 2024 Salary
Selected candidates for the post of Forest Guard, Forester, and Live Stock Inspector will be paid a monthly salary as mentioned in the OSSC Forest Guard Notification pdf.
