OSSSC Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) Overview

This examination was conducted to check the candidate’s general knowledge, computer knowledge and subject-specified knowledge. This examination comprised a total of 150 questions with a total of 150 marks. Each correct answer carried a 01 mark, and 0.5 marks were deducted for each incorrect answer. All questions were objective-type questions. Candidates were given 150 minutes to complete the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE).

OSSSC Forest Guard Result Preparation Process

Provisional Answer Key: The commission releases the answer key on its official website before announcing the final result. Appeared candidates can match their answers with the provisional answer key. The answer key shows the correct answers to the questions asked in this examination.

Objection Process: After releasing the provisional answer key, the commission will allow the candidates to raise objections to it for those who are not satisfied with these answer keys.

Final Result: After reviewing the objections, the commission releases a revised answer key to the candidates. The final result is prepared based on the revised answer key.

Minimum Qualifying Marks for Forest Guard, Forester & Livestock Inspector’s Examination

The candidates should secure the minimum qualifying marks to be eligible for the various positions. The minimum qualifying marks of the written exam as per the category are mentioned below:

Aspirants who get higher than the minimum qualifying marks will be shortlisted for the merit list and will be called for the further phases of the selection process.

The commission will select those candidates who secure higher marks than the minimum qualifying marks. The merit list shows the name, roll number, father’s name and other details of the shortlisted candidates. The merit list will be published with the final result on osssc.gov.in.
