Steps to fill OTET Application Form

Step 1: Visit the official website of BSE, Odisha at

Step 2: Click on New Registration to create a new Login ID.

Step 3: On successful registration, login ID and Password will be sent on the registered mail of the candidate.

Step 4: Fill out the OSSTET application form with the required details.

Step 5: Upload all the required documents in the prescribed format.

Step 6: Proceed to pay the application fees as per your category.

Step 7: Submit the OTET 2023 Application Form.

Step 8: Take the printout of the Application Form for future reference.

OTET 2023 Selection Process

The candidates who wish to begin their career as secondary school teachers in Odisha are required to qualify to be eligible for the post. OTET 2023 will be conducted offline and there is no negative marking for any wrong answer in OSSTET 2023.

OSSTET Syllabus 2023

The OSSTET Syllabus is prepared by the Board of secondary education Odisha for the Paper 1 and Paper 2. OSSTET 2023 Eligibility

The candidates need to fulfil the minimum required eligibility criteria to appear for OSSTET 2023 Exam. The eligibility criteria which a candidate needs to satisfy for OTET 2023 are given below:

  • The candidate should have passed his/her Higher Secondary Examination from BSE Odisha. If the candidate is from CBSE/ICE board, then they must have studied and passed Odia as one of their subjects.
  • The candidates should have passed their Bachelor’s Degree in the respective discipline with at least 50% from a recognized university.
  • The candidates should also hold a B.Ed Degree from a university recognized by NCTE.

OTET 2023 Teacher Salary

Candidates after qualifying for OTET 2023 will receive an in-hand salary that is incremented substantially if we take into account the basic pay and allowances, the average in-hand OTET salary per month ranges from Rs.5,200-20200.
