Deal live now

Adventuress

A three-piece ERO 6 system with a router and two range-extended satellite devices cost $ 279. The system won’t be hitting stores until early November, but if you’re willing to pre-order, you can currently pair it with a free echo dot and two free Philips Hue bulbs. Total cost: still $ 279, which is one heck of a deal.

Thanks to that new ZigBee hub in the Eero router, you can connect those Hue bulbs directly with your home network, and with Alexa, which comes in the free Echo Dot, from there, you’ll be able to. Turn the lights on and off, adjust brightness and color temperature, or let Amazon‘s assistant trigger your favorite smart lighting scenes with a quick voice command.

Some things to keep in mind though. First of all, while this deal equips you with the new, Wi-Fi 6 version of Eero’s Mesh router, it doesn’t get you the latest Echo Dot with its new circular design. Instead, you will get a previous, puck-sized model from 2018.

Second, two hue bulbs are hue white ambience LEDs. This means that they can change the color temperature on the white light spectrum, with colors ranging from a pale, candle-like glow to warmer, more blue-white day tones. They can’t change colors on the RGB spectrum, though – so no greens, blues, pinks, purses, reds or anything like that. It’s a small one, but at least the new Eero routers make it so that you don’t need the Hue Bridge if you’re going to control them via the Alexa app. Read our Eero 6 first.

In the meantime, if you upgrade to the hardcore Arrow Pro 6 system, which also arrives in November, you can currently find a $ 599 three-pack bundled with the free Fire TV Cube on Amazon, which is usually Sells for $ 120. That router can hit faster than the regular Eero 6 listed above, and the Tribend design has an additional 5GHz band that you can dedicate to the system transmission between the router and the extender. This is the best method for fast, high-end mesh networking, as our tests repeatedly show. Adding in a free Fire TV cube helps reduce that high asking price sting, too. Read our Eero 6 first.

Netgear

The AX6000 version of Netgear’s popular Orby Mesh router boasts a trend design with two 5GHz bands, as well as full support for Wi-Fi 6. This is one of the fastest and most impressive Mesh routers I’ve ever tested. Has done, and it’s not come cheap, with a two-piece system typically selling for $ 700. Now for prime day you Three-piece The system, with a router and two satellite devices for the same price, saves you $ 300. It will be up to 7,500 sq ft with fast, reliable connections. Want a three-piece mesh router, but don’t mind spending hundreds for a fancy, tribute Wi-Fi 6 system? Consider last year’s version of Ero, as the 3-pack is on sale for $ 75 during Prime Day. As I said, there is no support for Wi-Fi 6 (and no free Philips Hue bulbs or Echo speakers), but it is still a fully capable system for those with ISP speeds of less than 500Mbps. A well-tested mesh router with two extenders for less than $ 200 is a steal. Read our Eero (2019) review.

Netgear

If you want to upgrade to a tribal router with a 2.4GHz band, a 5GHz band, and one more 5GHz band, so this prime day offer for Netgear Nighthawk X6S may be right up your street. It does not support Wi-Fi 6, but it is as powerful as Wi-Fi 5 routers, and is capable of hitting gigabit speeds on both 5GHz bands. At the sale price of $ 180, you are saving $ 100.

Adventuress

Look, don’t ask me to pronounce it, but Ziyituod’s AX3000 PCIe card can bring full-speed Wi-Fi 6 support to your laptop, and it’s available for $ 25 on Prime Day, which is available on such cards. As cheap. With support for 160MHz channels and a top speed of up to 2,400Mbps over the 5GHz band, it will make easy work of incoming connections, and help your laptop stay with the newest and fastest router on the market.

For compatibility, you’ll need a PC running on 64-bit Windows 10 or a Linux distribution like Ubuntu, as well as a F_USB connector on your motherboard. As per the listing, it will work with both Intel and AMD processors as well as PCI-E X1, X4, X8 and X16 slots.

Tp-link

Okay, so here we are talking about a discount of only $ 7, but still, it brings the price down to just $ 28 for a stop-gap dual-band router. With a top 5 GHz speed of around 5 GHz, it’s not fast enough for a Gigabit connection, but the TP-hardware does well in our tests, and the simplified control setup in the Tether app for Android and iOS devices gives a Make a cinch. If you just need to do something cheaper by the time you’re ready for a major upgrade to Wi-Fi 6, then this should be done.

Want a little more oomph? The Archer A7, which increases peak speeds at 1.3Gbps on the 5GHz band and also adds support for Alexa voice control, is on sale today for $ 52.

D-Link

If you want a budget router that feels a bit more sophisticated than the previous budget, consider spending for the D-DIR-1360-US, marked below $ 50 for Prime Day. I have not tested this specific model, but other D-routers in the same family, such as the excellent DIR-867, have impressed me with speeds that are faster and reliable than you would expect to spend. At $ 48, it looks like a strong price pick, and it adds support for MU-MIMO connections, and also support for Alexa and Google Assistant voice controls.

Want more speed? You have more options. First is the DIR-1960-US, which can hit speeds of up to 1.3Gbps. The $ 30 Prime Day discount brings the asking price down to $ 70. You can also save $ 35 on the gaming-focused DIR-2660-US, which increases the 5GHz speed limit to 1.7Gbps – down from $ 84 for Prime Day.

Netgear

Meanwhile, this Net16er’s AC1600 router is marked up to $ 56 for Prime Day, saving you $ 24. This is a touch faster than some other budgets on sale today, even with a top speed of 1.3Gbps on the 5GHz band. If you are paying for gigabit internet, this can be a good option and you just want a simple router that is capable of hitting those top speeds.

Deal i will leave

Tyler Lizenby / Tips Clear

It doesn’t support the latest Wi-Fi 6 speeds, but still, Asus has a very strong record in our gaming router tests – and this model, the GT-AC5300, is a behemoth among the Wi-Fi 5 crop, less so. As far as specs are concerned. With eight antennas in an eye-catching array, it’s about as showy-offy as a router, and the Triband design lets you take the entire 5GHz band for your standard gaming traffic while leaving the entire 5GHz band free for the 5GHz band. Lets dedicate.

At a Prime Day price of $ 245, it is available for less than $ 100 compared to the normal list price, but here’s the thing: The last time I tested a large batch of gaming routers, I used this router. Wi-Fi 6 version was included in the mix – and it did not win. The top spot went instead to the less expensive, dual-band Asus RT-AC86U – and Asus released just one follow-up to that router with support for Wi-Fi. This new model, the RT-AX86U, cost $ 250 – – just $ 5 more than this offer – and it looked very impressive in our initial speed tests, especially when it comes to managing latency. If I were in the market for a new gaming router, I would skip this offer and buy just one at full price. Read our Asus RT-AX86U first.

This is not a Prime Day deal per se, but Google recently gave a price cut to its original mesh Wi-Fi system, bringing the cost of a three-piece Google WiFi setup to below $ 200. This is a fair price for a well-reviewed system, but I would like to see it go on sale for less sales that it is almost four years old at this point. There is also a very good chance that we will see Black Friday sales on the new, faster Nest WiFi, which only started last year. If you are in the market for a mesh router from Google, it is probably worth the wait.

It’s also possible that Google may launch a new, Wi-Fi 6 version of Nest WiFi here at the last minute before buying the season, but I don’t think it’s likely that Google’s new Pixel phones, Nest speakers, and Chromecast all streamers Skipped Wi-Fi 6 altogether. Nevertheless, I think you can get better deals than this at this time of year. Read more on Tips Clear
