A total of Rs. 850/- is the application fee to be paid by candidates belonging to the General and OBC Categories for RBI Grade B 2023 exam. The same amount is reduced to Rs. 100/- for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD Category.

RBI Grade B 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates are required to follow the given criteria (as per the previous year RBI Grade B Notification) to be eligible for RBI Grade B 2023 Exam:
RBI Grade B Citizenship & Nationality
• Must be a citizen of India
• Must be a subject of Nepal
• Must be a subject of Bhutan
• Must be a Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 and has the intention of settling permanently in India.
• A person of Indian origin migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.
RBI Grade B Age Limit (as on 01/05/2023)
RBI has defined minimum age criteria for appearing in the RBI Officer (Grade ‘B’) examination. Candidates are required to be aged between 21 years and 30 years (both age included) to apply for RBI Grade B exam 2023. For candidates possessing M.Phil. and Ph.D. qualifications, the upper age limit will be 32 and 34 years respectively.

OR b. PGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute. OR c. Master’s Degree in Economics in any of the sub-categories of economics i.e. agricultural/ business/ developmental/ applied, etc., with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognised Indian or Foreign University /Institute d. (i) Candidates having Master’s Degree with Research/Teaching experience at a recognized Indian/Foreign University/ Institute will be eligible for relaxation in upper age limit to the extent of number of years of such experience subject to a maximum of three years. RBI Grade B 2023 Selection Process
RBI Grade B 2023 Exam is conducted in three phases, while the Prelims examination is Objective in nature while the Mains examination would comprise of the objective as well as descriptive test

RBI Grade B 2023 Exam Pattern
Candidates are required to clear all three phases in order to get a confirmed post as a Grade B Officer in the Reserve Bank of India.
RBI Grade B Prelims Exam Pattern
The prelims exam of RBI Grade-B Officer 2023 comprises a single Paper for 200 marks. A total time of 120 minutes will be given for answering. However, separate time will be allotted for each test.

RBI Grade B Officer Interview Process
Candidates will be shortlisted for the interview, based on aggregate marks obtained in Paper-I, Paper II, and Paper III of the Phase II exam. The interview process will carry 50 marks.

RBI Grade B Number of Attempts
The number of attempts for a general candidate to appear for the RBI Grade B Exam is 6 (six) while for SC/ST/PWD/EXSM there is no limit for appearing in the exam unless they reach the maximum age level.
RBI Grade B Salary 2023
The Pay Scale for the RBI Grade B Officer is Rs. 55,200-2850(9)-80850-EB-2850(2)-86550-3300(4)-99750(16 years). This means that you will be having basic pay of Rs. 55,200/- in which you will get an increment of Rs. 2850/- up till nine years of your service. After the completion of nine years, you will get into the executive band wherein the basic pay will be Rs. 80850/- and then again for the next two years you will get an increment of Rs. 2850/- and further an increment of Rs. 3300/- for the following 4 years thus ending up with the basic pay of Rs. 99,750/- and this is when you don’t get any promotion. Apart from the Basic Pay, multiple emoluments such as Dearness Allowance, House Rent Allowance, Family Allowance, Telephone Allowance, Conveyance Allowance etc. will also be provided.
