RBI Grade B Salary Increment

The first increment of RBI Grade B Officer is done after 5 years of their service period.

  1. Receive an increment of – Rs. 1750 (up to 9 years )
  2. After 9 years is over, your basic pay is: Receive an increment of – Rs. 50,900: Rs. 1750 (for the next 2 years)
  3. Further increment of – Rs. 2000 ( for the next 4 years) / then basic pay is = Rs. 54400
  4. After 16 years, the maximum basic pay will be Rs. 62400.

This amount will be received even without any single promotion after that certain period of time.

Besides the basic pay, RBI Grade B Officers are offered several other perks & allowances. These additional benefits motivate the employees to work and keep the working environment healthy.

i) Dearness Allowance: 31% of the basic pay as per 7th pay commission

iii) House Rent Allowance: RBI offers them an amount of 70,000 for settlement in metro cities like Mumbai. Usually one gets a 2/3 BHK flat. for those employees who had not got any flat.

ix) Education Allowance: Get education allowance for their children/The annual reimbursement amount for approximately INR 4000 per month
