REET Exam Date 2023

Rajasthan Eligibility Exam for Teachers (REET) is an eligibility test for the recruitment of teachers which is conducted every year by the Department of School Education Council of Rajasthan. Once the REET 2023 notification will be released, REET Exam Date 2023 will be notified.  After qualifying REET Exam, the candidates have to appear in a separate examination for which the new scheme has been released by the board.

REET 2023 Vacancy 

The Board of Secondary Education, Rajasthan will soon release the REET 2023 notification on its official website. Once the notification will be out, vacancies for 2023 will be notified as well. Last year, 46000+ vacancies were announced by Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot. Steps to Apply for REET 2023 Exam

REET 2023 Education qualification for Level I (class 1 to 5)

Refer to the below table and check detailed education qualifications related to a primary teacher or Level I teacher-

REET Education Qualification for Level I

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) by the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulation, 2002.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final year of a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name is known).

Graduation and passed or appearing in the final of 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known).

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed).

Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations issued from time to time in this regard.

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year Bachelor in Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).

Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4-year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A. Ed./B.Sc.Ed.

Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in 1-year B.Ed. (Special Education).

REET 2023 Age Limit 

The candidates who have attained the age of 18 years are eligible for the post of primary and upper primary teacher. The age relaxation is given as per the category of the candidates. Check age limit category-wise given below in table-

REET 2023 Selection Process

The REET Exam 2023 will be conducted by the Rajasthan Board of Education to assess and shortlist suitable candidates who are eligible to teach the students of primary & upper primary classes ranging from class 1 to class 8. REET exam is of two levels – Level 1 for classes I to V and Level 2 for classes VI to VIII. The candidates who qualify REET Exam with the minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by the exam authorities will be eligible for REET Certification and can appear in the personal interviews for their appointment in government & government-aided schools of Rajasthan. The selection criteria for the Rajasthan REET 2023 Exam will be done in two stages

1. Written Exam
2. Interview

REET 2023 Exam Pattern 

1. The Exam Paper of REET 2023 will be comprised of 150 questions.
2. There is no negative marking for REET Eligibility Test.
3. Candidates will be allotted a total of 2 hours and 30 min to complete the exam paper.
4. The exam will be conducted in offline mode and there will be separate papers for Primary teachers and Upper Primary Teachers.
5. Level 1 examination conducted for teachers of class 1st to 5th
6. Level 2 examination conducted for teachers of class 6th to 8th

REET 2023 Syllabus 

REET 2023 Syllabus has been designed on the NCTE Guidelines. The Board of Education, Rajasthan going to conduct separate exams for primary and upper primary teachers. The level of examination for both posts will be different. REET 2023 Minimum Qualifying Marks

A candidate must score at least 60% marks to get qualified for the interview round. There is a negative marking of ⅓ mark for the REET exam and the candidate have to score overall qualifying marks to get selected for recruitment. There are no criteria for section-wise qualification. In accordance with NCTE Guidelines, REET Certificate shall be valid for lifetime.

REET 2023 Salary

The candidates will get salaries according to their grades. Candidates are curious about the salary structure of primary teachers and also about other grade teachers. The grade-wise salary structure is given below in the table. Candidates can check the salary of their grade in the table, although the Rajasthan government is giving a handsome amount of salary to all the grades. REET 2023 Validity

Only the finally shortlisted candidates are liable for REET Certification after which they can appear for interview rounds for the schools in the state. The REET 2023 Certificate validity of the Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test ‘REET’ in the state will now be lifelong as announced by Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. Earlier, the REET certificates were valid for up to seven years, which was later reduced to three years.

Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education going to conduct the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teacher (REET) 2023 for which admit card will be available on the official website of the Rajasthan education board rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in in April 2023. Steps to Download REET 2023 Admit Card

1. Visit the official website of Rajasthan Education Board @rajeduboard.rajasthan.gov.in
2. Click on the link reading REET Exam 2023 Admit Card, which will be active soon.
3. Enter your details and click on Submit button.
4. The hall ticket for the written exam of REET 2023 will appear on the screen.
5. Download and save your call letter, and take a printout of the same for future reference.

REET Answer Key 2023

The Board of Education, Rajasthan will release a tentative REET Answer Key 2023 along with the correct responses of the questions asked in the examination. The answer key would help the aspirants to calculate their approximate score before the announcement of the result.

The Board of Education, Rajasthan will release results after the successful completion of the offline written examination process. The candidates who have given the exam and waiting for results must stay updated regarding the REET 2023 Result

REET 2023 Cut-off 

REET 2023 Cut-off is the minimum score to qualify for the written examination. The Board of Education, Rajasthan will release the cut-off category-wise once the written exam will be conducted. A Candidate who scores 60% or more in the REET 2023 exam will be considered a REET pass.  Up to 5% of relaxation in qualifying marks is allowed to the reserved categories such as SC/ST/OBC/PWD
