RRB ALP Syllabus 2023: To secure well in Railway ALP 2023 exam, all candidates should be aware of the Assistant Loco Pilot & Technician syllabus and exam pattern. It is important to know the exam structure and the detailed syllabus that needs to be prepared in and out to clear Railway Recruitment Exam 2023. Let’s start with an understanding of the exam pattern of RRB ALP Recruitment 2023. Candidates who have opted for the post of ALP have to give Computer Based Aptitude Test. After these two processes are completed, candidates will be called for Document Verification.

RRB ALP Syllabus 2023

The RRB ALP 2023 exam will be conducted in four different phases that candidates need to clear to get selected for various posts (Assistant Loco Pilot and Technician) in Indian Railways. RRB ALP Exam Pattern 2023

RRB’s first stage for Assistant Loco Pilot & Technician of CBT and the second stage of CBT are online objective-type papers. The first stage of CBT constitutes of 4 sections that need to be completed in 60 minutes. The second stage of CBT is conducted in two parts. Part A will constitute 4 sections with 100 questions in total that need to be completed in 90 minutes. Part B will constitute 75 questions in relevant trade that needs to be completed in 60 minutes.

RRB ALP Exam Pattern- CBT 1

The 1st stage CBT for Assistant Loco Pilot & Technician posts is common and consists of 75 questions from Mathematics, General Intelligence & Reasoning, General Science, and General Awareness on Current Affairs

Note- There is a negative marking of ⅓rd mark for each incorrect answer.

RRB ALP Exam Pattern- CBT 2

The 2nd stage CBT for Assistant Loco Pilot & Technician posts has two steps: Part A and B. Part A has four subjects – Maths, Basic Science and Engineering, General Intelligence and Reasoning, and General Awareness. Part B consists of questions from the relevant trade.

Note- There is a negative marking of ⅓rd mark for each incorrect answer.

Computer-Based Aptitude Test (for Candidates who have opted for ALP)

The candidates need to score a minimum score of 42 marks in each of the test batteries to qualify. The ALP merit list will be drawn only from amongst the candidates qualifying in the Aptitude Test, with 70% weightage for the marks obtained in the Part A of Second Stage CBT and 30% weightage for the marks obtained in Computer Based Aptitude Test
