Railway Recruitment Board (RRBs) released an Official Notification for RRB Group D Level 1 Recruitment on 12th March 2019. RRB will be recruiting 1,03,769 vacancies for the posts of Track Maintainer Grade-IV, Helper/Assistant, Assistant Pointsman, Level-I posts through three stages selection process- CBT, PET, and Medical/Document Verification.

RRB Group D Selection Process

The selection process for various Group D posts will include three stages as below:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT-1)

2. Physical Efficiency Test

3. Medical/Document Verification

RRB Group D 2022 Level-I Exam Pattern

Railway Administration reserves the right to conduct the CBT in either single or multi-stage mode. Candidates qualifying in the CBT shall have to undergo a Physical Efficiency Test (PET). It will be followed by Document Verification and Medical Examination. There shall be a negative marking for 1/3rd marks for each wrong answer.

RRB Group D 2022 Syllabus

RRB has published the detailed RRB Group D Syllabus along with its official notification. Before starting the preparation for the RRB Group D Level-I exam, the candidate must be familiar with the updated RRB Group D Syllabus And Exam Pattern. RRB/ RRC Group D Salary

The basic salary of candidates selected under RRB Group D Recruitment will be Rs 18,000. Besides the basic pay, the selected candidates will be provided with other allowances including Dearness Allowance (DA), Daily Allowance, Transport Allowance, House Rent Allowance (HRA), Allowance for Night Duty, Medical Facilities, Overtime Allowance etc. The in-hand salary of RRB Group Posts is Rs. 22,500-Rs.25,380 per month.

The Online Registration for Railway RRB Group D Recruitment Exam was started on 12th March 2019. The last date for the RRB Group D Level 1 Recruitment Process Online Application was 12th April 2019.

Steps to Apply for RRB Group D Vacancies

  1. Visit the official website http://www.rrbcdg.gov.in/
  2. Click on the ‘New Registration’ link
  3. Register for the exam and submit required details like name, date of birth and father’s name, mother’s name, Aadhaar Number, SSLC/Matric registration number, year of passing, mobile number, email ID and then submit the registration form
  4. Upon registration, candidates need to verify email ID and mobile number through OTP
  5. Login on the home page using the registration number and password
  6. In Part I of the application page, candidates had to provide the details of educational qualification, community, gender, religion, Ex-Servicemen, CCAA, Minority, Economically Backward Class and Age Relaxation and other details
  7. In Part II of the application page, candidates had to indicate his/her priority/preference of the posts
  8. On completion of application details, candidates were redirected to the payment page using Online Net Banking/Credit Card/Debit Card/UPI and Offline Challan
  9. Candidates were required to choose the exam language
  10. Candidates had to fill in the details of a valid photo ID card
  11. Enter bank details to get the refund of fees
  12. Candidates had to upload their scanned images of photograph and signature as per the format and SC/ST candidates were required to upload the category certificates
  13. Candidates had to agree to the terms and conditions and submit the application form

RRB Group D Level 1 Fee

The candidates who are interested in RRB Group D vacancies have to pay the requisite application fee as per the below-mentioned table-

RRB Group D Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for RRB Group D will be calculated on terms of nationality, educational qualification, and age limit. Only those candidates will be selected for RRB Group D recruitment process who fulfills the eligibility criteria as mentioned below.

Nationality

A candidate must be either:

  1. A citizen of India, or
  2. A subject of Nepal, or
  3. A subject of Bhutan, or
  4. Tibetan refugee who came over to India, before January 1, 1962, with the intention of permanently settling in India, or
  5. A person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India.

Education Qualification

The candidates who had completed their High School (Class 10) from an institution recognized by NCVT/SCVT or held National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) provided by NCVT are eligible to apply for RRB Group D Recruitment Exam.

Age Limit (as on 01/07/2019)

The candidates who fall in the age group of 18 to 33 years are eligible to apply for RRB Group D exam. Age relaxation is provided as per the norms.

Near vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 without glasses and must pass tests for colour vision, binocular vision, night vision, mesopic vision, etc
A-3 Distant vision: 6/9, 6/9 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 2D)
Near vision: Sn: 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses and must pass the test for colour vision, binocular vision, night vision, myopic vision, etc.
B-1 Distant vision: 6/9, 6/12 with or without glasses (power of lenses not to exceed 4D)
Near vision: Sn. 0.6, 0.6 with or without glasses when reading or close work is required and must pass the test for colour vision, binocular vision, night vision, mesopic vision, etc.

RRB Group D 2022 Admit Card

Candidates who have successfully applied for RRB Group D Recruitment 2022 Exam will be issued Admit Card for the first stage of CBT. Admit Card will be issued separately for CBT and PET. The CBT Admit card will be released tentatively 10 days before the exam date. The Admit Card for PET will be issued to those candidates who have successfully cleared CBT of RRC Group D Level-I 2022.

To login on the official website of Railway Recruitment Board, a candidate is supposed to have:

  1. Registration Number/Roll Number (पंजीकरण संख्या/रोल नंबर)
  2. Date of Birth/Password (जन्म तिथि / पासवर्ड)

The admit card for RRB Group D 2022 exam will be issued to candidates in two phases:

  1. For CBT (CBT के लिए )
  2. For PET (PET के लिए )

RRB Group D 2022 Answer Key

Once the exam is over, Railway Recruitment Board will release the provisional answer key with the correct responses to the questions asked in the examination. The candidates will also be given the opportunity to challenge the answer key with a fixed amount. The final answer key will be released after the objections are assessed by the exam authority.

Railway Recruitment Board will be announcing the result for CBT after the examination for the same has been conducted. Results will be announced for CBT first. Candidates who clear CBT will be allowed to give PET of RRC Group D 2022 Exam. Results for PET will be released after the Physical Test for Men and Women has been successfully conducted by Railway Recruitment Board.

RRB Group D 2022 Cut Off

RRB will be releasing the cut-off marks for CBT Exam on its official website along with the result. The candidate has to score more than the cut-off marks to get qualified in the exam.
