SBI Apprentice Syllabus 2023: State Bank of India has released the SBI Apprentice syllabus and exam pattern along with SBI Apprentice notification to recruit Apprentice vacancies and will be conducting the written test to shortlist eligible candidates. The graduates who want to get selected for 1 year Apprenticeship program must start their preparation with the updated exam pattern and syllabus to score good marks in the SBI Apprentice Exam 2023.

SBI Apprentice Syllabus and Exam Pattern

SBI Apprentice Notification 2023 has been released on 6160 vacancies on 31st August 2023. The online examination is expected to be held in October/November 2023. In this article, we have provided the detailed exam pattern and syllabus for the online examination to be conducted for selecting eligible graduate holders for the engagement period of one year. The syllabus mentioned here has been provided by the State Bank of India and appearing in the selection process is mandatory for the candidates who want to join the bank as an apprentice.

SBI Apprentice Selection Process 2023

The final selection of the candidates for the engagement of apprenticeship will be subjected to the selection criteria for SBI Apprentice 2023 which consist of:

1. Online written examination
2. Test of the local language
3. Medical Examination

SBI Apprentice Exam Pattern 2023

The candidates must go through the detailed syllabus for SBI Apprentice Exam 2023.

1. There will be 100 multiple-choice questions in the SBI Apprentice online examination.
2. The duration of the test will be 1 hour and there will be a separate timing for each test i.e. 15 minutes for each section.
3. The questions will be in bilingual (English & Hindi) except for the questions of General English. Except for the test of General English, Test questions for Written examination shall be set in 13 Regional Languages viz. Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu , Urdu in addition to English and Hindi Language.
4. There will be a negative marking for incorrect answers. 1/4th marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer.

The candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks which will be declared by the bank. There will be a relaxation of 5% marks for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Test of Local Language

Proficiency of local language would be a part of the selection procedure for SBI Apprentice 2023. The candidates applied for a particular state must be proficient in the specified language of that state (reading, writing, speaking and understanding). The candidates holding 10th or 12th standard mark sheet/certificate depicting that they have studied the specified opted local language will not be required to undergo the language proficiency test.

Medical Examination

Only the medically fit candidates as per the medical standards of the bank will be recruited for the SBI Apprenticeship program.
