- The language test is conducted for candidates who qualify for the SBI Clerk Mains exam.
- The candidates who have studied the opted local language in Class 10th or 12th are not required to appear in the test.
- In the case of others, SBI will conduct a local language test before joining the bank.
- Candidates found not proficient in a particular local language is disqualified from joining.
Tie-breaking policy in SBI Clerk 2023
In case, where two or more candidates score equal marks, then the tie is resolved in the following manner:
- The candidates belonging to the reserved category (SC/ST/OBC/PH) shall be considered first.
- f the tie persists, the candidate who has fewer incorrect answers in all the subjects shall be considered.
- If the tie persists, the candidate who is older in age shall be considered.
