Brahmani Mataji Temple, located in Sorsan village, 20 km from Baran, is located inside an ancient old fort. It is believed that there is an eternal flame in the temple which has been burning for the last 400 years. The idol of the Hindu goddess Brahmani Mata in the temple is installed in a cave under a large rock. Every year on the occasion of Shivratri a grand fair is organized where a large number of animals are traded.

3. Shahi Jama Masjid

Shahi Jama Masjid is located in Shahabad city at a distance of about 80 km from Baran. This beautiful mosque was built during the reign of Mughal emperor Aurangzeb. It was built on the lines of Jama Masjid of Delhi and is famous for its huge pillars and arches. This magnificent architectural marvel attracts a large number of tourists every year.
