However, his funeral had a positive effect, that of bringing together all family members. From a cloud in the sky, Marge addresses a moved smile that the other three Simpsons cannot see, as only a mother can address to the rest of her family.

In order for the episode to end on a too moving note (these are Simpsons all the same), Marge returns to paradise and offers Ringo Starr to marry it in the afterlife.
