A fourth season of “Squid Game”, the most seen series of all time on Netflix, will be born on the platform?

That's it, season 3 of Squid Game is finally available. Fans of the most seen series of all time on Netflix were finally able to discover the long-awaited outcome, and the final fate reserved for the main character of the Gi-Hun Seong series, player number 456. Winner of the game in season 1, he had agreed to play a new game in order to take revenge on his torturers.
The end of season 3 closes the door to a season 4, but not a continuation
But things did not go as planned. The transmitter he had hidden in his tooth, to allow Inspector Hwang to locate the island, had been removed. Committed to himself, Gi-Hun also discovered new games, which made him unable to help other players win, and therefore limit the number of victims.
Season 3 finally ended with the inevitable sacrifice of Gi-Hun. After a hectic final, the latter found himself face to face with player 333, the baby he had sworn to protect. In order to honor his promise, player 456 therefore did not hesitate to sacrifice his own life for that of the child.
In addition to this unexpected outcome, the arrival of Hwang and his allies forced the master of the game to trigger the self -destruction of the island. Without really knowing it, Gi-Hun has therefore managed to destroy the organization responsible for its misfortunes. Either a real conclusion to the series, which will therefore not have season 4. For the sos, many tracks pave the way for possible spin-offs.
An American version of Squid Game soon broadcast?
The creator of Squid Game Hwang Dong-Hyeok declared himself to be open to the idea of a spin-off, centered on the character of the master of the game. But the South Korean scriptwriter and director does not imagine this extension as a sequel, but as a prequel exploring the three years which separated the intrigue of season 1 from that of the seasons 2 and 3.
Added to this is another project, an American remake supervised by David Fincher. And the project could happen faster than expected, as the very last scene of the final episode seems to announce. The appearance of Cate Blanchett in the role of a recruiter for the American version of Squid Game Games could be much more than just cameo…
