SSC JE 2023 Exam Date Out: SSC JE Exam is conducted every year by SSC to recruit eligible candidates for the post of Junior Engineers in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Quantity Surveying and contract Posts for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. The posts are Group B (Non-Gazetted), in Level-6 (Rs 35400-112400/-) of the pay matrix of the 7th Central Pay Commission. SSC JE 2023 Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay Rs. 100/- as their application fee for SSC JE 2023 Exam. Female Candidates, Ex. Servicemen and Candidates belonging to reserved categories are exempted from paying the application fee for SSC JE 2023 Exam. The payment of application fee can be made only through online payment modes such as Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards and BHIM, UPI etc.

Steps to Apply for SSC JE 2023 Exam

Step 1: Click on the official link for SSC JE which is provided above on this page or Go to the official website of SSC (https://ssc.nic.in/).

Step 2: The registration link for SSC JE 2023 will open up in the new window.

Step 3: Click on the New User/Register Now link.

Step 4: To begin with the SSC JE Apply Online 2023, a candidate needs to provide basic details of themselves like name, parents’ name, date of birth, email id, mobile number etc.

Step 5: Click on submit button to submit your online registration form of SSC JE 2023. It is advised that candidates verify their details before submitting the form. All the candidates will be issued a Registration ID for SSC JE 2023 exam.

Step 6: In the next step, candidates are required to upload photographs and signatures by following the requisites mentioned by the Staff Selection Commission of India.

Photograph – The photograph of a candidate must be clicked in front of white colour or light-coloured background. The size of the photograph must be more than 4 kb and less than 12 kb in size. The resolution of the photograph must be 100*120 pixels in width and height.

Signature – The signature provided by the candidate must be in black or blue ink on the white sheet. The scanned copy of the signature that needs to be submitted must be in jpg format and it should be more than 1 kb and less than 12 kb in size. The resolution of the image should be 40*60 pixels in width and height.

Step 7: Login with registered ID and password to complete the Part-II of the application form of SSC JE 2023.

Step 8: After filling out the application form, candidates must preview the entire application of SSC JE 2023 once to look for any glitches in the form, if any as the application form once submitted cannot be edited again.

Step 9: Click on Final Submit button after previewing the complete online SSC JE 2023 application form and pay the required application fee through online mode only. The payment of application fee can be made only through online payment modes such as Net-Banking, Credit/Debit cards and BHIM, UPI etc.

It is advised that Candidates download and get print copies of the submitted application form of SSC JE 2023.

SSC JE 2023 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria for SSC JE 2023 exam consists of SSC JE Educational Qualification and Age Limit. SSC JE Educational Qualification

SSC JE Age Limit (as on 01/08/2023)

For the posts for which age limit is upto 30 years- The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1993 and not later than 01-08-2005.

For the posts for which age limit is upto 32 years- The candidate must have been born not earlier than 02-08-1991 and not later than 01-08-2005.

SSC JE 2023 Exam Pattern

SSC JE 2023 Exam will be conducted in two papers. Paper 1 will be of 200 marks and paper 2 will be of 300 marks. Both paper 1 and paper 2 are Multiple Choice Questions. 0.25 marks will be deducted for every question attempted wrong by a candidate in paper 1 and in paper 2 there will be a negative marking of 1 mark.
