Stunning $56 Million Bel Air Mansion Hits The Luxury Real Estate Market

An award-winning new designed and unusually shaped mansion has hit the market in the upscale Bel Air neighborhood of Los Angeles. The helix-like structure can be yours for the bargain price of $ 56 million. Perched on a hill, the Orum House offers panoramic views of Los Angeles from downtown to the city to the ocean on a clear day, and there have been many clear days in Southern California, with reducing cars on the road due to stay-at-home orders linked to the coronavirus pandemic. The average price of a house in Bel Air is $ 12.2 million. Orum House, as mentioned, costs about four and a half times as much, at $ 56 million.

Mauricio Umansky, founder of the real estate sales company, The Agency, represents the house alongside two other agents. The Orum House price tag includes all furniture in the house. The house is three stories with two of those above ground and the third built into the hill on which it sits. A glass and steel staircase connects the three floors of the Orum house. The house also has two elevators.

On the first floor, the house has a gourmet kitchen with a butler prep space, two living rooms and a dining area. Glass walls open with the push of a button to open this level of the house to the backyard, where a pool and spa lit by LED lights take center stage. The second floor of the house has five bedrooms, all with private spa-style bathrooms. The lower level of the house has a home theater, gym and sauna, as well as a catering kitchen and 1000-bottle wine cellar. There is a four bedroom, four bathroom guesthouse next to Orum House called The Cube.

Orum House received a Merit Award from the Los Angeles Chapter of the American Institute of Architects. The design of the house is unique in its propeller shape and position to maximize the views of Los Angeles.
