The Air Jordan 1 "Art Basel" Pack Is Releasing Exclusively In Miami

Last week we saw teaser images of pastel coloured Air Jordan 1’s, and rumours were spreading fast regarding their release. Nike have now released official details, and we’ve got the latest. Continue reading to find out more.

It’s been a huge couple of weeks for the Air Jordan 1. We’ve seen a Gatorade collaboration unveiled, as well as the highly coveted Black/Gold Top 3 silhouette, and with the recent confirmation of the “Art Basel” pack, Jordan Brand are showing no signs of slowing up. The Art Basel pack features two colourways, a pastel pink and a baby blue, both finished off with the “Black Toe” treatment.

Both colourways are looking great, and the pastel colourways sit extremely well on the classic silhouette of the Air Jordan 1. All the classic design nuances can be seen here too, including Air Jordan branding on the upper, and the iconic Swoosh logo adorning the side of the sneaker. Construction materials look to be of a high standard going by the promotional photos, as with most Jordan releases at the moment.

If, like us, you’re liking the look of this collection, the bad news is that they’re not going to be easy to get your hands on. They’re dropping exclusively at the annual Art Basel event, held in Miami. Therefore if you’re outside of the city, you’re going to struggle picking a pair up. No doubt they’ll hit the resell market, but they certainly won’t be cheap. Time to hit up your stateside connects.
