The Best Bren Loadouts in Call of Duty: Warzone
Best Bren Loadouts in Call of Duty: Warzone
Now that the dust has settled and the call of duty: war zone goal has been set, many players have flocked to the Bren LMG after the Vanguard integration. No matter what, long-range automatic weapons are highly favored in war zone thanks to the Caldera or Rebirth Island map design, and Bren fits nicely into that category. But given how Vanguard weapons have 10 attachment slots and 70 possible attachments to choose from, it’s not easy to figure out which builds are the best.
That’s where we come in. Here, we’ll detail Bren’s best loadouts, along with specific accessory recommendations. These are the best Bren builds in call of duty: war zone.
Summary of Bren
Of course, let’s first take a look at why the Bren is so effective, with detailed stats to back it up. The main reason to use the Bren is its extremely low recoil, which makes it easy to land your shots. Its time to kill (TTK) isn’t the best in the game, but because of how easy it is to use, you’ll be able to consistently take down opponents with little to no trouble. According to TrueGameData, the Bren has a competitive TTK of around 600ms up to 55 meters if you chest-fire a fully armored enemy. If you headshot that TTK improves to just 400ms. Considering how low the recoil is, you should be able to easily achieve a TTK of around 500ms at a range of up to 55m.
The other thing to note is that the Bren is an LMG, but it can be built to feel more like an assault rifle. It will never feel fast like a light assault rifle, but it can certainly reduce a lot of the slowdown that comes with an LMG. Unsurprisingly, the Bren is best used from a distance, so you’ll want to come equipped with a weapon alongside it that works well up close, like an SMG or shotgun. Still, the Bren can resist even within the SMG range between 10 and 20 meters.
Below are two of Bren’s best builds and their equipment.
long range standard
Recommended construction:
Muzzle | mercury silencer |
Barrel | Queen’s Royal 705mm |
Optical | G16 2.5x |
Values | HockensonSP2B |
under the barrel | m1941 handstand |
Magazine | 6.5 Sakura 40 Round Magazines |
Ammunition | elongate |
rear grip | polymer grip |
Perk | strong fit |
Benefit 2 | Fully charged |
There’s pretty much a standard build for Bren, and it’s one that most players have gravitated toward. This is a build that prioritizes recoil control and ranged stability, making it a fantastic option for taking down enemies from afar. It’s not overpowered as it’s balanced by its slow mobility, but it definitely feels like the best long-range auto weapon in the game right now.
start with the Mercury silencer mouth for additional sound suppression and recoil control. This slightly negatively affects its damage range, but the low recoil and suppression are worth it. Remember, this will prevent you from appearing on the enemy’s minimap when you fire your weapon. Then equip the Queen’s Royal 705mm Barrel, giving you a boost to horizontal recoil control, bullet speed, damage range (counteracting Muzzle debuffs), and reduced range sway. This barrel is key to making this weapon as accurate as possible. Follow that with G16 2.5x optics for clear rise and additional recoil control. You can use a higher magnification scope if you plan on engaging in battles hundreds of meters away.
To help you meet your goal, equip the Hockenson SP2B cylinder head, which increases accuracy and recoil control during sustained fire. It also improves shake resistance, which makes the screen shake less when you’re shot at. After that, go with him. m1941 hand stop under the barrel to improve recoil control and accuracy. This hurts your hipfire accuracy a bit, but you shouldn’t hipfire with this weapon anyway. As for the Magazine, we recommend the 6.5 Sakura 40 Round Magazines. This accessory is key to ensuring the Bren feels more like an assault rifle, while increasing recoil control, accuracy, ADS, and your rate of fire. Having only 40 rounds can be unwieldy, but thanks to its low recoil, you’ll get more mileage out of each shot.
Since this is a long-range build, you’ll want to prioritize high bullet speed, which reduces the amount you have to direct your shots. To do this, we recommend using the elongated ammunition writes. Next, we suggest the Polymer handle Rear handle, which improves recoil resistance and accuracy during sustained fire. This, once again, will help you secure long-range kills on a more consistent basis. To make your life easier, we also recommend the Tight grip benefit for its boost to recoil control during sustained fire. You’ll find that this build works best when you hold down the trigger for long periods of time. Finish the build with the Fully Charged Perk, which gives you maximum ammo.
Profits
Benefit 1 | EOD |
Benefit 2 | Maximum alert |
Benefit 3 | combat scout |
When it comes to benefits, there are always several different options, but we tend to gravitate towards EOD for slot 1, which gives you explosive damage reduction. You can also use Quick Fix if you are an aggressive player, but EOD is more useful when you play slow. To mix things up, this class works well with Maximum alert, as it makes your screen throb when an enemy looks at you. This is effective for long-range battles, as enemies can sometimes be hard to see. Finally, finish the build with combat scout. This perk has been our go-to for a while now, as it pings enemies you damage, allowing you to easily shoot them through walls.
Team
Lethal | molotov cocktails |
Tactical | stun grenades |
Wrapping up the build, let’s dive deeper into team recommendations. we like to use molotov cocktails with this build, as they can be used to finish off a downed player while creating splash damage over time. Other Lethals like Grenades or Thermite are also fantastic. So go with stun grenades for tactics, as they immobilize your opponents, making them easy to take down.
long range variation
Recommended construction:
Muzzle | Stabilizer F8 |
Barrel | Queen’s Royal 705mm |
Optical | |
Values | HockensonSP2B |
under the barrel | m1941 handstand |
Magazine | .303 British Round Drum 100 |
Ammunition | elongate |
rear grip | leather grip |
Perk | strong fit |
Benefit 2 | Fully charged |
In fact, there’s another ranged build that we’ve enjoyed, and it might be better for those looking for more ammo. The settings above have a 40-round limit, which is manageable but can sometimes lead to some sticky situations if you’re unlucky. This build also mixes things up with ADS speeds and recoil control, making it a good option if you’re tired of the stock build.
start things with Stabilizing muzzle F8 to improve accuracy and damage range. Note that this will leave you with no suppression, so you’ll want to choose your shots carefully. After that, stay with the Queen’s Royal 705mm Barrel for its benefits to horizontal recoil control, bullet speed, damage range, and scope sway reduction. You’ll find these first two attachments ideal for taking out enemies from long distances. Speaking of which, we recommend equipping the SVT-40 PU 3-6X Optical Scope, allowing you to toggle between 3x and 6x magnification.
Keep the Hockenson SP2B cylinder head with this construction as it helps with accuracy and recoil control during sustained fire, along with better recoil resistance. This goes hand in hand with other attachments that help you ensure long-range deletions. Also, keep the m1941 Hand stop under the barrel, which improves recoil control and accuracy. After that is when things get interesting. switch to the .303 British 100 Round Drum Magazine. This thing is an absolute beast, giving you 100 rounds in each drum, at the expense of ADS speed, reload times, and movement. This will slow him down significantly, but the extra ammo could come in handy, especially in Trios and Quads.
Then stay with the elongated ammunition, increasing your bullet speed without penalty. It’s worth noting that you can also use Subsonic here, which prevents you from appearing on enemy minimaps when you fire, countering your muzzle without suppression. After that, we suggest the Leather grip Back grip to improve ADS speed and aiming stability. Your ADS speed will drop significantly with this build, so it will be helpful to have something to increase it a bit. Continue using the Tight grip benefit to improve accuracy and recoil control during sustained fire, along with Fully charged for maximum starting ammo.

Benefit 1 | EOD |
Benefit 2 | Ghost |
Benefit 3 | combat scout |
For Perk 1, you must go with either EOD or quick fix. Both have their strengths, but EOD is useful even if you’re not racking up kills. After that, we recommend switching to Ghost for this loadout so you don’t spawn during enemy UAVs. Since his weapon is not suppressed, it will attract enough attention as it is. For Perk 3, we still suggest sticking with combat Scout, which pings damaged enemies for you and your entire team.
Team
Lethal | Fragmentation grenade |
Tactical | heartbeat sensor |
You can mix things up with this loadout or stick with the previously recommended gear. Frag Grenades they are more reliable than ever, allowing you to roll them around a room to deal massive amounts of damage. The same can be said of the heartbeat sensor, at least in terms of reliability. This reveals non-ghost players within a 50 meter radius, perfect for Rebirth Island.
