The Best OLED Laptops for 2022
Organic LED (OLED) displays offer exceptional image quality, brightness and contrast by using organic compounds to emit visible light. These screens are light and thin and allow extremely wide and accurate colors, incredible brightness and contrast ratios available. OLED technology has been around for a few years and has quickly taken over the TV market.
You can also find these screens on laptops, making it an interesting option if you want stunning visuals on the go. Here, we pick out some of the best OLED laptops with outstanding screens now on the market. The Dell XPS 15 tops the list due to its bright and bold color screen, but it’s not the only great option. If screen quality is really important, one of these laptops should do the trick.
Dell XPS 13 (2021)
Why you should buy this: It’s the best laptop you can buy, and the OLED screen makes it even better.
For whom it is? Anyone who is looking for a premium mainstream laptop and wants the best.
Why we chose the Dell XPS 13:
The Dell XPS 13 is the best laptop you can buy. It’s incredibly well built, with quality materials like aluminum on the top and bottom chassis and incredibly comfortable carbon or glass fiber that makes up the keyboard deck. Its transition to a 16:10 screen made it even more productivity-friendly, and the small bezels mean it’s still one of the most portable 13-inch laptops out there. Add in 11th Gen Intel Core i3 through i7 processors, up to 32GB of RAM, and up to 2TB of PCIe solid-state drive (SSD) storage, and you have a recipe for greatness.
Dell recently added a 3.5K (3456 x 2160) OLED display option that’s not only incredibly sharp, but promises wide, accurate colors and incredible contrast. That makes for a dynamic display with inky blacks, perfect for both productivity and creative users. You can also get IPS screens, but since the 4K IPS screen is the same price as the OLED option, why would you?
You’ll also get solid battery life and a great keyboard and trackpad. The Dell XPS 13 is an amazing laptop, and the OLED screen makes it that much better.

Dell XPS 15 (2021)
Why you should buy this: The XPS 15 is already an amazing laptop, but the OLED screen takes it to a whole new level.
For whom it is? Video editors, photographers and content creators.
Why we chose the Dell XPS 15:
The Dell XPS 15 has been our favorite 15-inch laptop for quite some time now, and it might be our favorite laptop if it weren’t overshadowed by its slightly more portable and attractive cousin, the XPS 13. The latest version of this laptop updates everything, 16:10 screen included. You now have options for an 11th Gen Intel Core-i9 octa-core, up to 32GB of memory, and up to 1TB of PCIe NVMe solid-state storage. There’s also an optional Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti graphics chip for impressive mid-range gaming capabilities.
But the screen is the reason we are here. The 3.5K OLED panel is simply stunning. Made by Samsung, it’s a gorgeous display with fantastic contrast and bright, punchy colours. More importantly, the Dell XPS 15 features excellent color accuracy, which some of the other options on this list lack. That makes it a great option for photographers and video editors.
The 3.5K OLED screen is no more expensive than the 4K LED option that Dell offers. However, battery life on the Dell XPS 15 may be worse with the OLED option.

Asus ZenBook Pro Dúo UX582
Why you should buy this: The secondary display on this laptop is great for multitasking, and the OLED screen is used to great effect.
For whom it is? Artists, designers and multitaskers.
Why we chose the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo UX582 :
It’s hard to miss the large second screen at the base of the 15-inch Pro Duo, called the ScreenPad Plus. Yes, it takes away some space for the compact keyboard, but it adds a second screen that you can drag apps onto, essentially becoming a second screen that you can use to multitask, check information, or compare things like color and contrast. It’s not exactly Sidecar technology from Apple’s iPad, but it’s still very easy to design and opens up a lot of new possibilities for this ZenBook.
In addition to the top-notch UHD OLED display, the laptop offers a 10th Gen Intel Core i9-10980HK processor that pairs well with the discrete GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. It also includes 32GB of RAM and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD for your storage needs. The laptop comes with a detachable palm rest for longer sessions and an Asus stylus for the touchscreen, so you’re ready to hit the ground running right out of the box!
While the Asus ZenBook Pro Duo UX582 may fill a niche need, it does so very well with a portable model that enables more complex work you might not have otherwise tackled on a laptop and a screen that’s just as good for design as for entertainment.
