With shows like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Valentino and more, Paris Fashion Week was the place to see all things fashion. The streets of the French city were awash with some of the hottest trends, from long coats to tailored trousers and a range of bright hues. The winning color of choice this week was lime green, first featured in Daniel Lee’s latest Bottega Veneta collection. It now comes in pants, sunglasses, suits and, of course, bags. Among the most popular sartorial choices were pink, brown and black leather pants, which were mostly worn with suspender shirts, oversized blazers and sweaters. The color palettes featured lots of blacks and whites, but with pops of bright colors in between, like orange, blue, and yellow. Thanks to Valentino’s runway, one of the most dominant hues was pink, sporting separates, sweaters, tops and skinny pants. No matter how chilly the day got, that didn’t stop fashionistas from showing off a little skin; cut-out pants, dresses, shirts and skirts were everywhere to be seen. But to protect themselves from the drop in temperatures, many attendees kept warm in trench coats, leather jackets and structured blazers. Sculptural bags in pop and neutral tones were also a big hit – many added a new color to their ensemble for a more intricate and interesting look.
