As one of the most stylish and decadent events on the fashion calendar, Pitti Uomo did not disappoint. The streets of Florence were ablaze with expertly tailored suits, showcasing some of the latest shades for the season. The most prominent were neutrals, with shades of brown, camel and pebble in the form of oversized and double-breasted blazers, with linen. Complementing the warm sun of Northern Italy, fashion goers donned blue, cream, and the occasional splash of green as they made their way through the town. For those who took a more casual route, a popular option was tailored trousers with tucked-in Hawaiian shirts, emblazoned with prints such as leaves and beach scenes and topped off with straw hats and boat shoes. The biggest trend we saw this year was pinstripes, donned by a multitude of people in various ways – suits, trousers, shirts, and even scarves.
