by Adidas are bringing us a brand new silhouette just before 2018 kicks in, and it looks set to be a big hit. Titled the Prophere, it showcases a chunky sole, and exaggerated three stripe branding. We’ve got the latest and a sneak preview right here.
Adidas Originals tells us that the main inspiration for the Prophere was creators, and the underground world that they occupy. They’ve taken this silhouette in a completely new direction, featuring a bold, sculpted midsole, fitting in with the current trend. It also gives the sneaker a chunky “exaggerated” feel, and makes for an incredibly comfortable ride. It’s great to see Adidas pushing the boundaries with their brand new silhouette.
When it comes to the upper, the innovation continues further. Around the foot is a sock-like upper, designed for ease when slipping the shoe on and off, and thick three-stripe branding, constructed of raw leather. The three stripes double up as the lace loops for the shoe. Hints of solar red stand out from the white/black colourway, and really give the pair an individual and distinctive look. Last but not least, Adidas Originals branding can be found on the tongue tab.
If the Prophere is ticking all the boxes for you, you haven’t got much longer to wait. The pair will release at Adidas locations and online from the 15th of December.
