After a successful first season, The Last of Us returned for a second season, now entirely available on the Max platform. These seven new episodes are an adaptation of The Last of Us: Part IIsecond part of the video game universe, developed by Naughty Dog.
During this second season, fans lived roller coaster with the heroes Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey), which we found 5 years after the events of the inaugural season of The Last of Us. And things do not happen as planned for the loved so much duo.
How does season 2 end “The Last of Us” end?
Since the death of Joel, killed by Abby (Kaitlyn Dever), Ellie has been in a quest for revenge. Accompanied by her lover Dina (Isabela Merced), the young woman is chasing Abby and her companions in Seattle.
Quickly joined by Jessie (Young Mazino), Ellie managed to find certain members of the Abby group, such as Nora (Tati Gabrielle) which she kills at the Seatlle hospital. Knowing that Tommy is around and that Dina is injured, Ellie continues her hunt in the last episode of season 2 of The Last of Us and finally found herself at the Seattle Aquarium, after having faced the Seraphites.

Ellie falls on Mel (Ariela Barare) and Owen (Spencer Lord) and their requests insistently where Abby is. The altercation degenerates and he kills them. Completely upset by her act when she realizes that Mel was pregnant, Ellie returns to the theater which serves as her hideout with Dina and Jesse.
She finds her friends there but also Tommy (Gabriel Luna), who went to get them. The group believes that its quest for revenge may be going too far and that it will not bring Joel back to life. But their lives will be turned upside down because a surprise guest joins the theater.
Revenge has a price
Without warning, Abby arrives at the theater and threatens Tommy. Ellie and Jesse run to her rescue but Abby kills Jesse coldly. The actress unveiled the intrigue of season 3 of The Last of Us when Variety asked him if his character would be back: “I don't know. Craig [Mazin] said it would certainly not be the case next season. This is the story of Abby. Maybe. But I think it was to serve Joel and Ellie. “
