This morning I am taking you to the sunshine at Glastonbury in Somerset. Our laid-back couple, Tim and Abi, chose a relaxed day at Splotts Moor Farm, and filled their day with DIY details and home-grown flowers. I love an outdoor ceremony, as you may well know, so this traditional hand-held ceremony is much bigger than me! He also enjoyed the Ukulle band as well as the Caledih band. Above all, guests join hands to dance directly around a maze after their ceremony. A very unique day, full of personal elements, all captured by Ian Jeffery.

Tim and Abi were married on 17 July at the magnificent Splotts Moore farm in Glasnbury. A quaint rural site with custom built timber nests in the shadow of Glastonbury Tor, you really can’t get a more picturesque site.
Tim and Abi added their own touches to the marquee, including flowers that were grown in their small market garden, a beautiful touch.
They did something officially before arriving at the farm, so the atmosphere was calm and cheerful, with their friends and families greeting them together. Everyone was relaxed with the kids enjoying the scenery, exploring the beautiful gardens, finding bugs, and playing through the plants and laughing and joking around, there was a real feeling of peace and tranquility in the air .
Their ceremony followed the same scene, with a beautiful hand-fast, which is the basic way to get married! Halfway to the ceremony Tim and Abi were singing a song together with Bristol Ukalule Jaime, it was, surprisingly, a spine tingling, so different and personal, I was so blown away by it!
Once the ceremony was over and dusted off, it proceeded to roam around a maze, which had been lowered into one of the fields, with everyone holding hands and dancing, it was actually all Brought together.
A good old-fashioned Selidah day is over, it’s a great laugh, fun to photograph and even more fun to be a part of!
