Tom Barkley is a seasoned writer and editor specializing in the global economy, financial markets and the environment.

For 15 years at Dow Jones and The Wall Street Journal, Tom covered a range of financial markets and policy issues. He helped lead coverage of the 2008 global financial crisis as the Washington bureau’s senior international trade and finance reporter.
