In Tomorrow belongs to us, Paul Belmondo lends his features to Henri Julliard, Damien's father, Charles and Violette. A complex role to say the least on which the actor recently confided!
Stroke in Tomorrow belongs to us! It was the father of Damien (Adrien Rob), Charles (Roberto Calvet) and Violette (Salomé Benitha) who removed his children. An unexpected gesture for a disturbing character to say the least! Henri Julliard, interpreted by Paul Belmondo, seems, in fact, very disturbed.
On the occasion of his arrival in the flagship series of TF1, the son of Jean-Paul Belmondo took the time to confide during an interview with our colleagues from Télé-Loisirs. But, did you know that production has hoped to have it in the casting for a while?
“The production had already contacted me in the past, but I had to decline because of my obligations in the theater! When they reminded me, it was consistent with my schedule and, after having thought a little, I accepted with pleasure.”
“I prepared myself as best as possible”
“I knew it was going to be a lot of work over a fairly short period. So I approached DNA as when I was racing pilot: I prepared myself as best as possible, including psychologically.”
But then, what does he think of his character? “”Henri Julliard, my character, is complex. He's not a nice but, all he does, he said for a just cause: finding his family. Finding Damien, Charles and Violette … This is the goal of his life. This double personality, in a way, liked it. “
“He does bad things but, according to him, for a good cause.” He continues: “”Henri is a dangerous character in this situation. Aside from a few moments, it is not dangerous, basically. For him, what he does is justified, normal. “
“He doesn't feel like doing something wrong”
It remains to be seen what awaits us in the future and the actor does not want to be reassuring: “”He is ready to do anything because he is convinced that he is in the right one. He doesn’t especially feel like doing something wrong ” he said before concluding:
“He is therefore ready to go to the end to bring his family together, whatever the consequences he could pay. He does not think of the consequences. He only sees the positive side: finding his children.” he reveals to Télé-Loisirs. To find out more, go to this evening from 7:10 p.m. to discover the rest of Tomorrow belongs to us on TF1.
