Have you just finished the “Andor” series on Disney+? This is the moment when never to (re) discover the excellent “Rogue One”, whose action is right after.
A long time ago, in a distant galaxy, very distant …
Since his father, the brilliant engineer Galen Erso, was removed by the Empire in order to supervise the construction of the Death Star, the young Jyn learned to manage on her own. Trained by the rebel Saw Gerrera, then captured and sent to an imperial labor camp, she finds freedom thanks to a squad of the Alliance, led by Captain Cassian Andor.
Having joined the rebellion on Yavin IV, she learns that her father secretly had a flaw in the imperial base system, allowing future attackers to overcome it if they manage to recover the plans. In the fateful mission that is preparing, Jyn could have a crucial role to play in freeing the galaxy.
A simple question
Since the acquisition of Lucasfilm by Disney in 2012, there are no less than 5 feature films released in the cinema, as well as 7 series in real shots. If fans have sometimes been able to express their reservations about some of these productions, there is one that has practically been unanimous: Snape One.
Released in 2016, right between episodes VII and VIII of the postlogy, the first spin-off of the distant galaxy, directed by the talented Gareth Edwards, had chosen to focus on a very precise detail of the Star Wars universe and to answer a very simple (but fundamental) question and that the fans were probably posed for almost 40 years: The Star of Death to the Empire?

The best Star Wars since the revenge of the Sith
You know … These crucial documents that Princess Leia was hiding inside R2-D2 just before being captured by Dark Vador, in the very first scene in episode IV.
Absolutely essential to allow the victory of the Alliance at the end of the original Star Wars, they obviously do not come from nowhere. It is therefore brilliantly, by orchestrating sumptuous space battles and by offering the public just what it takes to “fan” without ever falling into excess (we still have chills by thinking about the famous Dark Vader scene!) That the director of Rogue One started to connect the saga wagons.
Noted 4.1 out of 5 stars, this is simply the best franchise film since the revenge of the Sith, released 11 years earlier.
Completely dispensable to understand the great history of the saga, but absolutely essential when you like the right Star Wars, Rogue One is to (re) discover urgently on Disney+, especially if you have just finished the excellent Andor series, which is just before
