Top 10 jobs that bring nothing to society, if we are honest

We’re back with a free, wicked top because we know you love it. In addition to all the bullshit jobs in the spheres of finance and communication, there are plenty of people we meet on a daily basis who have a job that is a bit useless. Obviously, we do not throw stones at these people who are just trying to feed themselves while watering big capital in spite of themselves. But we must admit that we could manage without them.

1. People tearing up the ticket you just bought at the cinema

You’re all happy, you’ve just bought a very pretty ticket and 3 meters later, someone takes it from your hands to tear it up with a big smile. No, really, it doesn’t make any sense.

2. People who call you to offer you a new phone deal

Has anyone ever decided to change their telephone offer thanks to a teleconsultant without having had the impression of having been scammed? I think that never happened. These jobs are completely useless and we know that people on the phone do not want to do that at all, we send you strength.

3. The people who place you in the theater

The profession of usher has become really outdated but the tradition has remained, surely to keep the chic side of the theater. I don’t want to put all the ushers in France out of work, but it’s damn boring to have to pay people who read a number on your ticket and tell you “it’s this way”. Yes, thank you, I can read.

4. The people who monitor the college CDI

Stop pretending, we know that librarian is a lazy job. They drink coffee, put away a book or two and take part in all the school trips of the year for no reason. We could put a supervisor with a computer instead, it would be the same.

5. People asking you to pay to go to the bathroom

Once again, we are not throwing stones at the pee-ladies but at the managers of the places who charge for the toilets. There are even stations where you can pay a monthly fee to use their disgusting toilets, what world do we live in?

6. People who take pictures of stars on vacation

Paparazzi is surely the worst job on Earth: taking photos of people without their knowledge to resell them to the highest bidder, we call that a big bastard job and I am weighing my words. Just cover the events and let the stars sunbathe at the quiet beach.

7. People who ask you if “you know the concept” when you walk into a restaurant

Waiters who tell you “hi, do you know the concept? in a restaurant are a bit like salespeople saying “hello, can I help you?” in a clothing store. Except that they are even more unbearable. No, we don’t know the concept and who cares, please let us eat.

8. People who put your groceries in bags

In the United States, there are hypermarkets where young people are paid a pittance to put your shopping in plastic bags. Sometimes it’s even up to you to pay them when you didn’t ask for anything and you could really do this job yourself. Let’s stop exploiting people under the pretext of giving them a job, it would be good for everyone.

9. People handing out flyers at the subway exit

They don’t want to be there, they can’t wait to finish distributing their packet of loose sheets, knowing very well that they’ll end up in the trash and are paid three francs six cents, they are the distributors of flyers. We send a lot of courage to the struggling students who do this useless and unecological job.

10. People who watch supermarket checkouts

In truth, the cashiers who monitor the automatic cash registers are not useless since the cash registers bug every 30 seconds and we have to call them. Fortunately, they are there to save you with their badge that solves all the problems. Thank you to exist.

It is still better to have a useless job than a job that makes you unhappy.

PS: I know you’re going to say in the comments that my job is useless but at least it took you a few seconds (we reassure ourselves as we can).
