Top 8 series where the last season is the best, to conclude in style
The series are so cool, they’re like super long movies with lots of scenes that just serve to lengthen the story and sometimes you have to wait for the end for several years. Sometimes there is a lot of disappointment like with the worst series endings of all time, but there are also incredible endings, because for some series the last season was the best and we invite you to see some examples.
Obviously, most people consider the last season of Breaking Bad like the best. Personally, I think Breaking Bad is not great, but I admit that the end was nice, mainly because it was finally over. Yeah I preferred such a big sun for me, more authentic.
The more we advance in Mr Robot the better, except maybe a little slump in season 2 BUT OTHERWISE it’s too good. There’s even a late former editor who wrote the top proofs that Mr Robot is the best series of the decade, that’s to say. No messing around, the final season has at least three of the show’s best episodes and is damn well directed and directed, not to mention the conclusion which isn’t disappointing at all.
Damn that this series was strange and very often cryptic to the point that we did not always understand everything. And in the end, we clearly don’t always understand everything, but the series still manages to hang up some wagons and open up to other questions that we didn’t see coming. It’s beautiful, it’s well done, we don’t capture everything but we love it all the same. Afterwards, it’s possible that this is my opinion because I’m stupid, you may have understood everything on your side.
A gentle descent into hell than that of this policeman who, over the seasons, agrees to work with more and more questionable methods until the point of no return. If the rest of the series is already very good, we must admit that the conclusion is really above the rest.
Considered one of the best HBO productions (the top of the basket) Six Feet Under also manages to be consistent from start to finish in terms of quality. But the finale and the final season rise just enough above the rest of the series to make it into the list. One last absolutely tasty bite, like that of an ice cream cone with chocolate in it.
If one day someone had told me that a series with a failed acting horse was going to touch me so much, I would probably have laughed out loud before slapping the person in front of me. But yet, this series made me laugh and made me want to cry at many times, especially the last season which had its share of sad episodes and very serious subjects, because overall this series is absolutely dramatic.
As the series progresses it becomes increasingly weighty and the outcome for Tony Soprano inevitably seems grim. The last season manages to keep the particular atmosphere of the series but to bring this feeling of “damn it’s going to go to the balls for sure”, especially in the second part of it which reaches a level of quality that we had almost never seen on TV.
Before you judge I never watched, but a colleague told me that the first two seasons were not great while the last one was really incredible. Apparently it’s slowly gaining momentum and it gets really interesting when the conclusion draws near. It’s stupid, because it is therefore necessary to type two seasons not phew before arriving at this stage, but it is tempting.
