Hailey Bieber’s New Skincare Line is Getting Sued
Shortly after launching her skincare range, Rhode, Hailey Bieber is getting sued. A fashion label, also named Rhode, is taking the model to court, citing that they’re too similar and may confuse shoppers. For context, Hailey Bieber’s middle name is Rhode.
Co-Founders of the fashion label Purna Khatau, and Phoebe Vickers, launched the brand in 2014. According to the co-founders, Bieber tried to acquire the brand name. “Hailey could choose any brand for her skincare line. We have only the brand name Rhode that we’ve built,” read the statement. “That’s why we didn’t sell her our brand when she asked four years ago, and why we ask her now to change her skincare line’s brand.”
