Un Si Grand Soleil: Did Dimitri Really Kill Rebecca? The Mystery Deepens

In the latest episode of Un Si Grand Soleil, tensions are high as the investigation into Rebecca’s death takes a dramatic turn. What started as a suspected suicide has now been confirmed as murder—and Dimitri is at the center of it all. But is he truly guilty?

Rebecca’s Death: From Tragedy to Homicide

Rebecca (played by Joanna Sangua) was found dead under mysterious circumstances. Initially believed to be a suicide, the autopsy revealed signs of a struggle, confirming that Rebecca had been killed. Due to his past romantic relationship with the victim, Manu has been removed from the case, leaving Detective Yann (Constantin Balsan) in charge of the investigation.

A Shocking Revelation

In the May 21 episode, Yann questions Alice—the young woman who collapsed earlier after taking steroids. During interrogation, Alice confesses that it was Rebecca who sold her the pills, linking the late veterinarian to a steroid trafficking operation.

This revelation shifts the investigation’s focus: Rebecca was more than a victim—she was also involved in criminal activity. Yann and Becker are now convinced that her death is connected to the drug ring. But just when the case seems to be closing in on a suspect, a new clue surfaces.

Dimitri Becomes the Prime Suspect

Thaïs uncovers surveillance footage from the night of Rebecca’s death, showing her outside her veterinary office in a heated argument with a man. When Becker zooms in on the image, he recognizes the man: Dimitri (Victorien Robert), who once dated his daughter.

With a personal and criminal connection to Rebecca, Dimitri quickly becomes the lead suspect. Their breakup months earlier ended badly—especially after Dimitri stole confidential client data from Rebecca to fuel his illegal animal trade. Rebecca was set to testify against him in court, and their animosity had only escalated.

Under police interrogation, Dimitri admits he confronted Rebecca the night she died. He claims he wanted to convince her to go easy on him during the trial. He also reveals that he followed her and discovered her role in the steroid trafficking ring, which he then used to blackmail her: drop the charges or be exposed to the police.

Based on this confession and the timing, authorities believe Dimitri pushed Rebecca from a bridge in a fatal confrontation.

But Is Dimitri Really Guilty?

While the evidence seems to point to Dimitri, not everyone is convinced. According to French magazine Télé Star, Eve is determined to prove his innocence and teams up with Eliott to dig deeper into the case. Their mission? Set a trap to catch the real killer.

So, if Dimitri didn’t kill Rebecca, who did?

That answer remains just out of reach, but with each new episode of Un Si Grand Soleil, the mystery only grows more intense.
