The online application process for UPPSC PCS 2023 exam is to be conducted in online mode only, not offline mode this time. Steps to Apply for UPPSC 2023 Application Form
The candidates have to submit their UPPSC 2023 Application Form to get registered for UPPSC 2023 Exam. Follow the below steps for filling the application form for UP PCS 2023.
Step-1 Visit the UPPSC official website – uppsc.up.nic.in.
Step-2 Under the heading Activity Dashboard, search for the Uttar Pradesh Combined State/Upper Subordinate 2023 apply link.
Step-3 Click on the Apply Online link.
Step-4 A new window will be opened on the screen, there select the UPPSC PCS 2023 exam and press the Apply button.
Step-5 First complete the UPPSC PCS registration process by providing the relevant details.

Educational Qualifications for UP PCS
For the posts included in the Combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Examination, the candidates must possess Bachelors Degree of any recognised University or equivalent qualification up to the last date for receipt of application. The post wise educational qualification is given below:

The UPPSC prelims and mains exam for UP PCS 2023 will be conducted offline across the state. The UPPSC 2023 PCS selection procedure has 3 stages:
1. Prelims (Objective/ MCQ)

UPPSC 2023 Exam Pattern
The UPPSC PCS exam is a three-stage exam and the candidates need to appear in the UPPSC PCS prelims exam followed by the mains exam & Interview (Personality Test). The prelims exam is an objective type exam comprising two question papers.
UPPSC 2023 Prelims Exam Pattern
- The Prelims exam of UPPSC PCS 2023 is an offline mode of examination having 2 papers in different shifts.
- The total marks allotted for each paper is 200 and the total time allotted for the completion of each Paper of Prelims exam is 2 hours.
- The total number of questions in Paper-1 (General Studies I) are 150 while Paper-2 is of 100 marks.

Important Points:
1. Paper II of the Preliminary Examination will be a qualifying paper with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%.

The pay scale of all posts under the combined state services is Rs. 9300-34800 Grade Pay Rs 4600/- (except Naib Tehsildar whose grade pay is Rs. 4200/-) to Rs. 15600-39100/- Grade Pay Rs. 5400/-
