UPSC Exam Date 2024 Out, Civil Services Prelims Exam on 16 June

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released the official notice for the postponement of the UPSC CSE Exam 2024 due to the schedule of the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections. As per the notice, the Commission has postponed the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination – 2024 and also released the new exam date. Now the exam has been rescheduled for 16th June 2024. The candidates who have submitted their applications for the UPSC Civil Service Exam 2024 & UPSC Forest Service Exam 2024 for 1206 vacancies have got additional time to prepare well for their exam. UPSC New Exam Date 2024 Out

With the announcement of the General Election scheduled from 19th April to 1st June 2024, the Union Public Service Commission has rescheduled the UPSC CSE 2024 Prelims Exam. The commission will now conduct the prelims exam on 16th June 2024 (Sunday) and the admit cards will be released by the 1st week of June 2024. UPSC CSE Exam Date 2024

The UPSC Civil Service Exam & UPSC Forest Service Preliminary Examination 2024 will be held on 16th June 2024 in two shifts. Paper 1 for General Studies will be held in the morning session while paper 2 for Civil Services Aptitude Test (CSAT) will be held in the afternoon session. The UPSC CSE mains exam for prelims qualified candidates will be held from 20th September 2024 onwards.

UPSC CSE Exam Schedule 2024

The Morning shift is for General studies and the Afternoon session is for CSAT. The duration of each paper is 2 hours (120 minutes). For the morning session, the exam timing is from 9:30 am to 11:30 am and for the afternoon session the exam timing is from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm.

UPSC Prelims Exam Pattern 2024

In the UPSC CSE Prelims Exam 2024, there will be 2 subjects (General studies and CSAT). For each paper there would be 2 hours.
