Steps to Apply for Uttarakhand TET 2023

The candidates may follow the steps given below to apply for Uttarakhand TET 2023:

Step 1: Go to the official website of the Uttarakhand TET at www.ukutet.com.

Step 2- On the homepage, click the “Recruitment” option.

Step 3- Choose the post for which you wish to apply and carefully read the guidelines.

Step 4- Click on the “Apply Online” tab and enter your personal information, educational credentials, and so forth.

Step 5- Upload the scanned copies of the required documents, such as a passport-size photograph, signature, educational certificates, and caste certificate (if applicable).

Step 6- Pay the application fee using one of the provided payment methods.

Step 7- Examine the application form for any mistakes or anomalies.

Step 8- Submit the application by clicking “Submit”.

Step 9- Make a copy of the application form and payment receipt for your records.

The aspirants must hold the required eligibility criteria for Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2023, check the UTET Eligibility Criteria 2023 to move forward with the application process.

Academic Qualification for Paper-I

Class 1st to 5th (Primary Class)	Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
	Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Elementary Education.
	Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed).
	Senior Secondary (or it is equivalent) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in the final year of 2- year Diploma in Education (Special Education)*.
	Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) passed or appearing in the final year of two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.
	Candidates who possessed “Graduation with at least 50% marks and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)” are now eligible for becoming Teacher for Classes I-V: Primary Stage. Such Candidates has to mandatorily undergo a six month Bridge Course in Elementary Education recognized by the NCTE, within two years of such appointment as primary teacher

UTET 2023 Exam Pattern

UTET Exam 2023 will consist of 2 papers namely paper 1 and paper 2. Paper 1 would be relevant for the candidates who want to teach the primary section, likewise paper 2 would be relevant for those who want to take up the students of upper primary section. UTET Paper-1 comprises of 5 subjects namely Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics, and Environmental Science. The candidates will have 150 minutes to solve the questions which would be objective in nature. Each question carries 1 mark and there is no penalty for wrong answers.

UTET 2023 Certificate Validity

Earlier the UTET Exam certificate used to be valid for a span of 7 years. But after the new amendments made by the ministry of education, now the UTET certificate would be valid for a lifetime. The candidates who would qualify the UTET exam 2023 would be receiving the UTET certificates. The candidates need to appear and qualify the UTET exam once and the certificate would serve for a lifetime.

UTET 2023 Admit Card

UTET 2023 admit card would be issued a few days before the exam. The candidates are recommended to minutely fill in the details while filling the application forms. The same details would be carried on to the UTET 2023 admit card as well. UTET Admit card is a very important document, as the candidates would not be allowed to enter the examination hall if they fail to present the admit card.
