Vanessa Redgrave, who had enrolled at the Central School of Speech and Drama back in 1954, went on to star in “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” at Shakespeare Memorial Theatre in 1959. She was also given stage roles in plays such as “As You Like It,” Cymbeline, and “The Prime of Miss Jean Brodie” throughout the 1960s.
