West Bengal Public Service Commission (WBPSC) has announced to conduct WBCS Prelims Exam on 16th December 2023 and WBCS Prelims Hall Ticket is to be made available in December 2023. The candidate must download and take a printout of the WBPSC WBCS Admit Card. No hard copy of the WBCS Admit Card will be shared by the board. The WBPSC WBCS Selection Process 2023 consists of two Written Examinations (prelims + mains) and interview. The written examination will be held in two stages, viz, (i) WBCS Preliminary Exam (Objective Multiple Choice MCQs type) and (ii) WBCS Main Exam (Both Objective Type and Conventional Type). WBCS Prelims Exam Pattern 2023

1. The Preliminary Examination is meant to serve as a Screening Test only for the purpose of selecting candidates for the Main Examination.
2. The paper will consist of 200 MCQs. The paper will carry 200 marks and will be of 2½ hours duration.
3. The standard of the paper will be the level of knowledge expected of a graduate of any faculty of a recognized University.
