WBPSC Clerkship 2024 Eligibility Criteria
Aspiring candidates who are interested in Clerkship posts must ensure their eligibility before submitting application forms for WBPSC Clerkship Recruitment 2024. WBPSC Clerkship 2024 Selection Process
The selection of the candidates for Clerk posts will be based on the Part 1 exam, Part 2 exam, and typing test. The typing test is qualifying in nature and the final merit selection of the candidates will be based on the candidate’s score in Part 1 (objective type) and Part 2 (Conventional type).
- Stage 1: Part 1 (objective type) – The West Bengal Public Service Commission(WBPSC) will conduct the WBPSC Clerkship Part 1 examination to shortlist candidates for the next stage of the selection process. Part 1 Exam consists of objective-type questions in English, General Studies, and Arithmetic subjects.
- Stage 2: Part 2 (Conventional type) – Qualified candidates in the Part 1 exam will be able to appear for the Part 2 exam which consists of conventional-type questions topics from English and Bengali/ Hindi/ Urdu/ Nepali/ Santali.
- Stage 3: Computer Knowledge & Typing Test: Those candidates who cleared the WBPSC Clerkship Part-I and Part-II exams will be invited to appear for the typing test and test on computer knowledge.

The examination will be held in two successive stages, viz., i) Part-I (Objective Type) and (ii) Part-II (Conventional Type –Written).
