When is my phone getting Android 14? Here’s everything we kn…
Android 14 is now here, and as usual, the first to get it is Google’s own Pixel phone family. Samsung has already released the One UI 6 update based on Android 14 for its latest flagship phones and continues testing for older devices, while Nothing is still in the beta-testing phase.
If you’re buying an Android phone that’s still stuck on an older Android build, here’s everything we know about the official Android 14 rollout plans for all the major brands available in the US market.

Google’s Pixel devices were the first to receive the Android 14 beta, so naturally, they were also the first for the general release. However, while Android 13 can be installed on devices going back to Pixel 4, Google has decided to phase out some older Pixel devices with Android 14.
All the following Google Pixel devices have received the Android 14 update:
If you didn’t receive Android 14 automatically via the stable update route from the Settings app, you can flash system images using the Android Flash Tool. Details about the file packages and necessary instructions are available in the Android Developers Guide.

Samsung was one of the first smartphone brands to start beta testing Android 14 on its phones, starting with its latest trio of flagship phones – including the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23 Plus, and Galaxy S23 Ultra. Currently, the stable Android 14 update for the Galaxy S23 trio is rolling out in multiple countries.
Like Google, Samsung offers multiple years of support for its flagship phones, meaning previous generation flagships and foldable phones should safely be on the update roadmap for the next few years. But Samsung has many more phones in its arsenal besides the Galaxy S-series.
There’s the Galaxy Z Fold and Flip lineup, more affordable A-series phones, and others. In its recent OneUI 6 announcement post, Samsung mentioned the following devices as part of its Android 14 vision:
Galaxy S23 Series, Galaxy S22 Series, Galaxy S21 Series, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Z Fold4, Galaxy Z Flip4, Galaxy Z Fold3, Galaxy Z Flip3, Galaxy A54, Galaxy A53, Galaxy A34, Galaxy A33, Galaxy M54 , Galaxy M53, Galaxy M34, and Galaxy M33.
Furthermore, based on the OS update commitment made by the company for various Galaxy smartphone line-ups, here is the full list of phones that should get a taste of Android 14 in the future:

According to a OnePlus Community post, the OnePlus 11 will get the stable OxygenOS 14 update in mid-November, followed by other devices. Android 14 is already under testing on Nothing Phone 1 and Nothing Phone 2 as part of closed-beta testing. However, Nothing has not confirmed when the stable Nothing OS 2.5 update will start rolling out. has contacted Nothing for more clarity and will update this story accordingly.
it shouldn’t take anything Very Given the software similarities Nothing OS shares with “stock” Android, it’s taken quite a while for its stable Android 14 update to be released, but we’ll just have to wait and see.

So far, Motorola has not said anything about its plans to release Android 14. However, given the past trajectory of Android 13 updates, you could expect most mid-rangers and older flagships to get it at some point in 2024.
We checked the official Lenovo community forum for the Android 14 update scenario and only found boilerplate responses like this:
“We don’t have any details about Android 14 yet.
and this:
