Yellowstone: Kevin Costner is right, all Dutton deserves to go to prison! – News series

A few weeks ago, Kevin Costner (again) settled his accounts with Yellowstone. The American actor and director described the unrealistic Soap Opera Western series, and estimated that according to him each member of the Dutton family – including John Dutton, the character he would embody – deserves to end his life behind bars.

The death of John Dutton allowed him to escape prison

A criticism that was not quite one, since in fact Kevin Costner is perfectly right. Each Dutton committed at least a crime which should have asserted a long penalty of imprisonment. Starting with John Dutton therefore, who has several murders to his credit, without forgetting those he has ordered to his men.

If the procedure ofimpreach had been completed, John Dutton could have lost more than his post as Governor of Montana. By deciding to use his official functions to serve the advantages of his ranch, the owner of the Yellowstone plunged into an illegal conflict of interest, and therefore reprehensible in the eyes of justice.

The Dutton, murderers of father in son and daughter

John's children are not to be outdone. Kayce murdered her son's kidnappers with cold blood, and gave himself up to torture to unmask her father's assassins. As for Beth, she could be charged with the murder of her brother Jamie, although her most likely arrest is for driving under the influence of alcohol.

Victim of Beth, Jamie was however not a saint. The investigation into John's death could have come back to him. Consequently, the prosecutor general of Montana certainly would not have escaped the prison because of his role in the assassination of his father, then governor of the state. Let us not also forget that Jamie killed several people, including her biological father.

Finally if he is not a dutton strictly speaking, RIP is by the links of marriage since he married Beth. And no other character in the series has gone so sali with his hands as him. It would be difficult to list all his victims, and even more all the people whose portrait he has demolished. There is no doubt that he would be among all the heroes of Yellowstone the one who would receive the longest prison sentence …
