NRJ12 launches this Saturday evening the broadcast of the seventh and final season of “Young Sheldon”, the spin-off of “The Big Bang Theory”. On this occasion, find out what awaits you in this new burst of episodes.
Farewell time is dangerously approaching for Young Sheldon fans. After having offered the new season 6 of the sitcom for several weeks, NRJ12 is broadcasting from this Saturday, October 12, the 14 episodes of the seventh and final season of the spin-off of The Big Bang Theory.
The adventures of Sheldon Cooper (Iain Armitage), this young prodigy gifted with unparalleled intelligence for science and mathematics, will soon come to an end during a season 7 which promises to be full of twists and turns .
A wedding in preparation
The final season of Young Sheldon will indeed be the scene of the long-awaited wedding between Mandy (Emily Osment) and Georgie (Montana Jordan). Remember, during season 1 George Sr. had a bet with his son that he would be married before he turned 25.
After accepting, the narrator specified in voice-over that the young man had married his first wife at 19, and in the finale of the previous season Mandy proposed to Georgie, then 18 years old.
Unfortunately, we already know that there will be no happy ending for the two lovebirds, since in Big Bang Theory it was specified that Georgie had married and divorced twice before 2019. This is also their marriage which will be at the heart of the new spin-off of the series, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage, which will be broadcast from October 17 on CBS.
George’s death
It’s the moment that all fans of The Big Bang Theory and Young Sheldon have been dreading… Sheldon will in fact be 14 years old in season 7, the age at which, according to the previously established chronology, the future Nobel Prize winner moves from Medford to Pasadena to begin his graduate studies at the California Institute of Technology.
The same year, his father George (Lance Barber) died. His death and especially his burial will therefore be addressed in the final double episode of season 7 of Young Sheldon. Take out the tissues…
