Sitting in one place for long hours is not beneficial for your body.  Even if you work out at the gym while not at work, spending the majority of your day in the same position can still lead to obesity.

It’s important to try and get up and move at least every 30 minutes.  Even a quick walk to the office water cooler for a drink of water can have benefits on your overall health.
