“We need your help to defend our freedom,” Zelenskyy said. “We need your help to protect our people. We need your help to stop the war.”
The G7 leaders pledged to continue to provide Ukraine with military and financial assistance. They also said that they would work to increase pressure on Russia to end the war.
“We will continue to provide Ukraine with the military equipment it needs to defend itself,” said U.S. President Joe Biden. “We will also continue to provide Ukraine with economic and humanitarian assistance.”
The G7 leaders also said that they would work to hold Russia accountable for its war crimes in Ukraine.
“We will not rest until Russia is held accountable for its crimes,” said British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. “We will continue to work to ensure that Russia is isolated from the international community and that its economy is crippled.”

“We will win this war,” Zelenskyy said. “We will rebuild our country. And we will be stronger than ever before.”
