APPSC Group 2 Syllabus 2023
APPSC Group 2 Prelims is of screening type i.e. marks will not be entertained in the final merit list. The APPSC Group 2 final merit list will be based on the marks obtained by the candidates in the mains exam and Computer Proficiency test. Candidates have to appear in the APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam and those who passed the prelims exam are shortlisted for the APPSC Group Mains Exam. The APPSC Group 2 Computer Proficiency test will be attended by the candidates who have cleared the mains exam.
APPSC Group 2 selection procedure includes 3 stages:

APPSC Group 2 Exam Pattern – Prelims Exam
APPSC Group 2 Prelims Exam is the screening stage for only shortlisting candidates for mains exam.
The exam includes 150 multiple-choice-based questions.
The exam is divided into three sections- General Studies and mental ability, Social History of Andhra Pradesh and Indian Constitution, and Planning in India and Economic problems
There is a negative marking of one-third marks for each wrong answer.
The time duration of the test will be 150 minutes.
