The 2024 Olympics in Paris are officially underway, with the Men’s Olympic Golf event kicking off Thursday, August 1, at Le Golf National. Here is everything you need to know to watch the best men’s golfers in the world fight for gold at the Olympics, including complete Olympic golf TV coverage and streaming schedules and complete Olympic golf tee times for the men’s tournament.
2024 Olympic Golf: Men’s edition
While a few are missing (see: Bryson DeChambeau), most of the best men’s golfers are featured in this year’s Olympics field, which was not necessarily the case in 2020 and 2016, when for various reasons some top players skipped the event.
Among the 60 men who qualified to play for their countries this week are eight of the top-10 players in the Official World Golf Ranking, including the top 3 of No. 1 Scottie Scheffler (USA), defending gold medalist and No. 2 Xander Schauffele (USA) and No. 3 Rory McIlroy (IRE).
The men’s tournament features four rounds of traditional stroke play running from August 1-4, with the winner earning the gold medal.
You can watch the entirety of the men’s golf event at the 2024 Olympics in Paris via Golf Channel and Peacock. Golf Channel will air all of the live TV coverage beginning at 3 a.m. ET each day. Peacock will offer live simulcasts of Golf Channel’s Olympics TV coverage.
